Commercial

Over the years, Hodges Company has been tapped to upgrade commercial buildings, hotels, and condo associations in Northern Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and DC. They choose Hodges because we have an established reputation for getting the job done within strictly defined technical specifications and timeframes. We’ve completed projects in which the work could only be done in the evenings and on weekends. We’ve even been screened for security clearances to work on sensitive jobsites. Large jobs don’t intimidate us and we complete them with the same skill and care we put into our residential projects.

If you have a commercial project that requires new windows or doors, give us a call at 703-532-0184.

A Few Typical Projects

  • Dulin United Methodist Church, Falls Church, Virginia

We replaced hundred-year-old casement windows in this Falls Church institution. Read more about it in our case study.

  • Sweet Briar College, Sweet Briar, Virginia

We replaced over 500 wood windows in dormitories, classrooms and other buildings. This project was governed by strict historical preservation guidelines that ensured that the new windows would complement the school’s existing architecture. We worked with the college’s architects and staff to comply with endowment requirements and installation timeline.

  • US Fish & Wildlife National Training Center, Shepherdstown, WV

Under a government contract, we installed over 3000 windows and doors in new construction. The Army Corps of Engineers managed the job and the windows had to pass rigorous wind and water tests prior to installation.

  • The White House

Over the course of the last 25 years, we’ve done a variety of projects at our nation’s most important residence—from installing glass in the White House bakery to installing storm windows in the private and guest residences. Each project required working with Secret Service and White House staff to ensure security and compliance with historical standards.
